Library Events
All year long, Valley STEM loves to support the local libraries which give so much to our communities. Our unique library curriculum exposes students in numerous Fresno library branches to the basics of STEM, allowing them to engage with the sciences hands-on in an open, non-classroom setting. These courses, while ususally no more than one hour, are incredibly comprehensive: this school year, students will gain experience with Google Cardboard Virtual Reality, applied physics, real-world mathematics, and the science of chemical reactions.
School Events
Valley STEM works with local elementary schools to bolster their STEM offerings with supplemental lessons and after-school programs. Much like our library programs, the emphasis is on hands-on, in-depth means of learning course material. Additionally, our school offerings will follow clear, week-to-week lesson plans, creating an environment where every observation, experiment, and lab ties into larger learning objectives. Stayed tooned for updates on when we'll be coming to a school near you!
